After announcing a month ago that The Grand Tour would launch only in a handful of countries with a global launch “in December” fans of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have been waiting for news of Amazon Prime Video in their country – today it appears, that announcement begins.
While there is no formal announcement of the Amazon Prime Video streaming service being available on a particular date, this publicity stunt clearly marks the global launch of the service which EFTM believes to be just days away.
The 150kg – 8 foot tall giant heads of Richard Hammond, James May and Jeremy Clarkson were unloaded at a dock in Sydney Harbour this morning and placed on the back of a truck to take a journey across Sydney.
Motorists across Sydney will notice the giant heads on the roads this morning, we understand they will later drive through other parts of Sydney before heading to their next destination.
Australia is the first stop for the Giant heads ahead of a Global tour – perhaps “The Grand Tour”.
Episode 4 of The Grand Tour premieres on Amazon Prime Video later today Australian time (11am).
