The Le Mans 24 hour race is one of the classic events in the annual motorsport calendar and having been there many years ago it’s an atmosphere any true motorsport fan should experience once in their lifetime – this weekend there are three Aussies out on the track so EFTM has the details of how to watch them in action.

Little known Aussie John Martin is part of the G-Drive racing team running the Oreca 03 Nissan team running with Roman Rusinov from Russia and Englishman Mike Conway.

The other two Aussies are familiar names – Jason Bright and Ryan Briscoe.  Bright will co-pilot the number 81 Ferrari 458, while Ryan Briscoe joins Marino Franchitti and team-owner Scott Tucker in the #33 Honda.

There is no live free-to-air TV coverage of the event here in Australia but there are two great options EFTM has found for those keen to take a look.

Firstly, for Foxtel subscribers – if you don’t have the Speed TV channel – what are you thinking? It’s awesome.  Speed has the full race live from 10.30 Saturday night right through to coverage end at 11.30 Sunday night.  You won’t miss a thing.

If you’re out-and-about or don’t have Foxtel – Network Ten is offering live streaming on its Ten Sport website.  Just click, stream and enjoy!

Go the Aussies, enjoy the race.
