The Vita is certainly a nice bit of hardware, but a lack of software in the launch phase really held it back. Sony has decided to help the little handheld branch out, today launching a dedicated YouTube app for the portable gaming device.
Perfect for watching video walkthroughs on how to get past the bosses in whatever game you might be playing at the time, or simply watching cat videos while you’re on the train (so long as you have the 3G version, of course), the app offers the ability to login, search and comment on your favourite videos on the Vita’s 5-inch screen.
Okay, so it’s probably not enough to sway people to rush out and buy a Vita, but a growing repertoire of content for the new handheld is only a good thing, right?
