Mazda Australia managing director Doug Dickson has revealed to The Sydney Morning Herald that prices of the Mazda3 will be slashed to coincide with the model update. The basic Neo model, which was already a pretty decent $21,490 drive away has now been dropped to $20,330 – a saving of over $1,000. He also predicted that the end of the year would be a “bloodbath” for new car sales as manufacturers continued to attempt to undercut each other. If you’re in the market for a small/medium sized car at the moment, there’s never been a better time to buy.
