  • BlackWolf Turbo X-Lite LF 240

I’m happy to declare the fact I own a BlackWolf tent, it’s called the “Tuff Dome” and let me tell you I paid big coin for it. But after it survived an East Coast Low that struck the NSW Central Coast a year or so back I’m convinced they’re...
  • McLaren’s New Topless Beauty

McLaren Automotive has joined with a large North American toy company known as Step2 to create a unique new model. Known as the 570S the new sports car targets a new, smaller audience and will allow parents all over to live life just that little bit easier. Ok so...
  • Meat – There’s An App For That.

In and around my home I currently have 36 devices ranging from cameras, sensors and lights that use Wi-Fi to keep me up to date with what’s happening. In fact, in the so-called “Internet of Things” I’ve gone all out. Now even the humble BBQ can’t escape the emerging...
  • Living With The BMW 740e

It sits at the top of the BMW tree, sure there’s the i8 but when it comes to a pioneering marvel the BMW 7 series wins hands down. So many world firsts debuted on this car along with its rival the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The generation one car featured BMW’s...
  • Nissan Pathfinder Ti Long Term Report Part Two

EFTM, in case you don’t know is an acronym that stands for “Every Thing For The Man”. Hence the copious amount of gear we talk about that’s aimed at blokes. One product that’s not is cars, especially SUVs. In fact, just today I looked around at the number of...
  • You’ve Got The Power

Tragically I get excessively excited over portable power banks. Why? Because on a good day my iPhone 6s is dead by midday. Sure, I’m a heavy user but seriously when is the day coming that a device like that can go the distance. Anyway, rant over and back to...
  • Ford Focus RS Limited Edition Here Soon.

When we drove the Ford Focus RS for the first time it was hard to wipe the smile of our faces. In fact, we awarded it EFTM’s Best Sports Car 2016. Now just 500 lucky people will get behind the wheel of a limited-edition Focus RS set to arrive...
  • Kia’s Sub $60,000 Sting in The Tail.

Kia’s Stinger performance GT will arrive on our shores with a sub-$60,000 recommended retail price. The Stinger has polarised Holden and Ford fans as they face the demise of the great Aussie performance sedan. The Stinger is propelled by a 3.3-litre bi-turbo V6 range. With 272kW of power and...
  • Time for Some Duffel Action

Osprey is a company that does bags well, we’ve covered camping bags, backpacks and even baby carriers. Quite frankly I’m surprised it doesn’t do bum bags. Now Osprey have announced a new version of the Duffel bag, the “Transporter” duffel series is here and there’s a size and colour...
  • Jump Start your car time and time again with Cygnett ChargeUp

I honestly can’t remember the last time I had to jump-start a car. I’m tipping it was around the year 2000 when my 10-year-old Audi 90 was the bane of my existence. Of course, pulling out the jumper leads is one thing but harassing the neighbour constantly to provide...
  • Socks For The Mountain Or Pub – Wigwam Peak 2 Pub

Over the past week I’ve thought more about socks than probably during my whole lifetime. Why? Well the good people at Wigwam sent me a pair from the new “Peak 2 Pub” range. The what? I hear you say, more on that in a sec. But since their arrival...
  • Climate Controlling Phone Case: Moab Review

Phone cases, they’re a dime a dozen ranging from faux diamond covered pink offerings our colleague Geoff Quattromani prefers, to all out military grade, zombie apocalypse survival capable creations. Unless you like to go nude with your often $1000.00 plus unit they’re basically vital to prevent calamities. Recently a...
  • Audi S5 Sportsback: A luxurious weapon that leaves many of our homegrown V8 sedans dead

Back in March the Audi A5 and S5 coupé were launched, an exciting clean-sheet design after the previous model’s 10-year reign. Then we saw the A5 range expand with the arrival of the Sportback five-door variant. Chris Bowen spent a handful of quality hours behind the wheel touring The...

  • BMW 530e Review – A Masterclass

Recently I drove the latest addition to the BMW iPerformance range, the BMW 530e. Aside from acknowledging its significant merits there are some drawbacks. Our test drive navigated a small sample of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs from the charging stations at Westfield Bondi Junction, to the serene but 30km/h mandated...
