  • Range Rover Evoque Dynamic Coupe SI4 Test drive and review

There comes a time when you simply have to acknowledge that the All-Wheel-Driving credentials of most compact SUV’s are simply a gimmick. Ask a Mazda CX-5, Holden Captiva or Mitsubishi Outlander to tackle anymore than a grassy knoll and you’ll get what you deserve, a winch from some bloke...
  • The Garage – Mazda 3 SP25 Astina Sedan

Last week we poured a bucket load of praise onto the 2014 Mazda 3 Maxx hatch, and rightfully so. This new model easily rides roughshod over the previous model which was conceived back in the “Noughties”. We’ve since returned the keys and spent another week in the top shelf...
  • The Garage – Mazda 3 2.0-litre Maxx Hatch

The Mazda 3 has been a remarkable success for a number of years now, as it should be. Mazda don’t have any black sheep in the family, they simply offer consistent high achieving vehicles. But in 2014 their mid-sized winner has been completely redesigned with the rejuvenation now even...
  • Audi RS5 Cabriolet review – $189,790 of goodness

Unless the big red ball drops on us we will never likely have the capacity to own many of the great exotic cars out on the road, but that shouldn’t stop anyone – including us – from dreaming. When it comes to luxury or sports cars, every now and then along...

  • The Garage – Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

  • Review: Skoda Octavia Ambition Plus 103TSI Sedan DSG

To put it flippantly, cars can in a way be very similar to the flavours of ice cream, some tantalise the taste buds like the strange concoction I saw the other day – Salted Caramel Ice Cream with Pistachio and Rosemary. Others are just run of the mill like...
  • You’re nuts if you don’t try Pistachios – Wonderful Pistachios

  • Soul Combat+ Review: Don’t Drown Out The Music With Sweat.

Since the introduction of the Walkman exercise and motivating tunes on the run have gone hand in hand. Earbud style headphones have traditionally been the companion post Walkman to the Discman and in recent times the iPod, but of course the drawback is decent audio clarity. Most over-ear headphones...

  • The EFTM Garage – Infiniti Q50 2.2d S Premium

Infiniti is back with another high-end luxury sedan. Renamed the Q50, the luxury arm of Nissan is hell-bent on securing a slice of the action. What’s more Lexus, Mercedes, Audi and BMW should take note. Because although inaccessible for many, due to a tiny dealer network, there’s no doubt...
