olloclip Pivot is the Selfie Stick We Actually Want

A fantastic accessory for your mobile device

At CES in Las Vegas olloclip have some new lenses to show, which is what they’re most known for, but also a new Articulating Mobile Video Grip.

The handheld grip doesn’t have a long extension pole like those ridiculous selfie sticks, it isn’t really for taking selfies at all either. The grip has 225 degrees of articulation so you can get those difficult shots without twisting and bending your wrists backwards. It’ll hold any device too. The stabilisation will be better than handling the phone by hand too, the grip allows for a better balance in the hand.

One of the other great things is that you could strap you GoPro in instead, a mount is included. If you don’t have a GoPro but another camera with tripod screw mounts, perfect, it can accomodate that too. Furthermore, a cold shoe mount is on the stop for adding a light or microphone accessory.

Retailing for $49.99 in the US, this product is set to launch in Australia soon, it’s a cracking little gadget to have on hand.
