Earlier this month 24 Aston Martin vehicles assembled at Sydney’s Luna Park for a special cruise across the Harbour Bridge and out to Sydney Motorsport Park to raise awareness and funds for the Special Olympics.

Gathered on the shores of Sydney Harbour at Luna Park 24 beautiful Aston Martin’s prepared themselves for a stunning drive out to Sydney Motorsport Park while at the same time giving a thrill to 100 Special Olympics athletes both on the way and out at the race-track.

The group of vehicles included the latest DB11 and all took a victory lap at Sydney Motorsport Park on arrival.

While Special Olympics Australia Chief Executive Officer, Corene Strauss, said: “With 2016 marking the inaugural Dream Ride in Australia, the day was a genuine once-in-a-lifetime experience, all in aid of a wonderful, charitable cause. Luna Park is such an iconic Sydney landmark and Special Olympic athletes and Aston Martin drivers truly experienced a day that they will never forget.”

The funds raise from Dream Ride 2016 helps Special Olympics Australia provide opportunities for those with intellectual disabilities to achieve their best through meaningful sports programs.
