I might be mistaken, but here at CES in Las Vegas it seems to me Volkswagen has gone stark raving mad comes the car that Tweets.
Volkswagen’s new infotainment app allows the car, in this case a Golf GTi, to draft its own Tweets. When the driver switches on the fog lights the car automatically comes up with a witty Tweet. For example, “Oh, it’s foggy for fog’s sake”. The driver is then asked to confirm the sending of the Tweet to the car’s own Twitter feed.
Those funny Germans.
Happy to be proven wrong, but it seems a bit strange to me!
