There’s no holding back on this one – the UE MegaBoom is huge, and that’s all good. A follow-up from Ultimate Ears from the successful Boom the MegaBoom adds more volume where you need it.
The principal is pretty simple. The UE Boom was great, make this one bigger and better.
So you get more power (Battery life), more Bass and overall more volume.
It’s waterproof like its little brother too, so it’s great for the beach or poolside parties.
With 20 hours battery life your party won’t be interrupted and perhaps more importantly I’ve been very impressed by the Bluetooth range.
Ultimate Ears claim a 30 meter range and that seems about the range I’ve tested – by far more than almost every other speaker I’ve tested.
As with other UE products, using the UE app you can also create a stereo pair if you’re prepared to shell out for two of these beauties at $349.95 each.
One of the best features that is hardly known by users is the remote on/off which uses the low power Bluetooth connection via the app to keep your battery in check.
Well worth it if it’s in your budget.
