You can switch the home button to be on the right side for those of you that drive on the wrong side of the road in other countries. 😉

I found it, in the normal Pioneer screen, go to Settings, then System (cogs icon, then wrench icon), “Apple CarPlay Settings”, “Driving Position”, choose “Left” or “Right”. From this manual: http://docs.pioneer.eu/Manuals/AVIC_F960BT_CRP1496_addendum/ but it seems to be in the other manuals too.

In the Pioneer settings menu. Make sure you have the latest firmware. I don’t know how to post a picture here, but you should be able to find it. I actually thought you already knew about it because somebody commented on it in one of your other stories. I was just mentioning it here for your readers since it wasn’t mentioned in this one.

Does this carplay unit allow for playing movies on the display?

Absolutely not. That would be completely stupid and very dangerous.

The unit does play DVDs and video CDs. I can’t find the part in the manual, but it will not play video to the screen unless the park brake is on.
