Foxtel has announced tonight its popular Foxtel Go app for iPad is now also available for iPhone. At the same time, both versions will also now feature the three Fox Sports channels as part of the ongoing lineup available on the mobile app.

Making your Foxtel subscription work that little bit harder for you is giving many Foxtel customers added value by being able to watch their favorite Foxtel programs live or on demand on the Foxtel Go app. At the launch of the iPad app, Foxtel did mention an iPhone version for an early 2013 release, and today the company has followed through with that promise with the iPhone version available right now in the App Store for iOS.
Additionally today, the channel lineup grew by three with Fox Sports 1, 2 & 3 being made available live to stream via a WiFi or 3G connection on both the iPad and iPhone – meaning the NRL season, The Ashes, plenty of Rugby and the huge depth of Fox Sports Football coverage are now accessible on the go to Foxtel subscribers.

The app maintains all its standard features, just in a smaller interface. Foxtel developers have managed to successfully squeeze the many Foxtel Go features into an easy to navigate app experience for the iPhone.
Live streaming has the instant rewind feature on a live stream, even if you didn’t originally watch that portion of the show. Up to 30 minutes before you started viewing can be rewound, and it remains a stand-out feature of the app along with the extensive Catch Up and on-demand content available.
