Pure, one of the leading global brands in digital radio, has today released an updated version of its pocket sized digital radio the Move.

The Move 2500 is a DAB+ and FM radio in a small compact handheld form factor that is relatively basic in function, but with digital radio on board, it won’t disappoint for quality.

Priced at $199, it’s certainly not cheap when it comes to the pocket radio market. One key difference to its competitors is the built in rechargable battery, offering 14 hours of listening on the go.

These pocket radios are actually a great choice for in car listening to if you have an Auxillary input to your existing stereo system.

According to Pure, “The earphones safely and passively cancel out most background noise enabling users to keep volume lower and avoid both ear strain and distraction”. In other words, they are in-ear buds which if worn correctly will reduce the external noise.

As far as sound adjustments go, the Move 2500 has bass and treble adjustment for customisation, and the unit itself features a simple black on orange display, 10 digital and 10 FM presets.
