How much space do you need to parallel park a Mini? According to the recently shattered Guinness World Record, you only need 15cm worth of extra space to squeeze one in. Well, that and some pretty mad driving skills.

Last week in China, stunt driver Han Yue managed to parallel park a Mini between two others with just 15cm of wiggle room. With a single centimetre worth of space between his car’s front bumper and the car in front (and 14cm at the back), the Chinese driver slashed six centimetres off the previous world record of 21cm.

Obviously, it’s best not to hand brake it into a parallel park in the real world, whether you’re driving a Mini or not. But in controlled conditions, this is the kind of breathtaking driving that makes the Mini more than just a cute little car.
