Afraid of spiders? This may help you out somewhat. Anthony Michael Simon from Chicago has figured out a way of turning these natural silk creations into art work that would go down well in any ultra modern man-pad.
To make the artworks, Simon collects spiders who will build webs that lend themselves to his art. He then allows them to build webs in the final housing of the artwork before releasing them when they are finished. This leaves him with the blank canvas he needs to create work. A protective spray and neon colouring later and you have these amazing works.

The protective spray is actually a lacquer mist in case any of you DIYers was wondering. These are not the first nature based works that Simon has created either. He’s renowned for doing things like creating neon forests and other interesting art works.Whether or not you like spiders, it’s hard to discount the works as anything but cool.
