If you’re excited by the smorgasboard of sport that is the Olympics games this year, you might want to sign up for Foxtel. Chief executive of the Pay TV service Richard Freudenstein today announced that its coverage of the 2012 London Games will be free for all Foxtel subscribers.

Foxtel will offer eight channels of 24-hour Olympic entertainment, including every single gold medal ceremony. While Channel Nine will offer free to air coverage of the event, it can’t possibly compete with the sheer breadth of coverage Foxtel is laying down for its customers.

Of course, if you’re a real soports fan, you probably have Foxtel already…
