Vale: Steve Jobs 1955-2011

The flags are flying at half mast outside Apple HQ in Cupertino, as founder Steve Jobs has today passed away.

The internet is right now being filled with eulogies and tributes to one of technology’s greatest minds, written on devices he helped create. Jobs passed away after a long battle with cancer at the tender age of 56.

A message on the Apple website confirmed the news:

Whether you like Apple products or not, there’s no question that Steve Jobs changed the world for the better. He will be greatly missed.
