Nothing gets you ahead in the corporate world like a good game of golf. Once you’re on the course you have two options: lose and pretend your superior is Adam Scott, or win and show that you can be humble in victory. If you have chosen the latter, then the iPING putting app is the must have accessory for you this year. Free to download, it will allow you to perfect your putting game almost anywhere.

To start off you will need to attach your iPhone 3G, 3GS or 4 with the iPING putting app to your putter. If you’re a bit of a DIY nut you can probably fashion one yourself, but we would suggest a trip to your nearest PING retailer to pick up the PING cradle, which retails for $40. Once you’ve done this, roll out a small green, fix up a hole and you’re ready to go.

The iPING putting app is like your very own putting coach. It measures your putts then analyses and displays the results on your iPhone. The three main variables are stroke type, angle of impact and tempo. The app will build a profile of your putts, give you your putting handicap, suggest the correct putter for your game and compare you to a list of PING sponsored professionals so you know just how far off making the PGA Tour you are.

With the iPING putting app you’re sure to make your short game look stunning. If you’re long game is no good, you might want to hit a driving range.
