Sydney, Australia, October 28, 2009 – Following the success of its introduction to the PC arena with the VPC100 All-in-One PC, ViewSonic, global technology provider and renowned worldwide leader of visual display products today announced the release of its PC mini series: PC mini 550, PC mini 530, PC mini 132 and PC mini 120. A game-changer for the traditional PC market, ViewSonic’s pint-sized, eco-friendly and cost-effective PC mini series offers a compact, power-saving solution to the bulky, noisy PC tower stereotype. PC mini 550 – Full Features + Personal Entertainment

ViewSonic’s high performance model – the PC mini 550 – is equipped with the new Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz CPU processor and Centrino platform for a quieter, more energy efficient operation than traditional desktop PCs. The PC mini 550 boasts the highest amount of system memory which includes 4GB DDR2 and a 320GB hard drive. In addition, the prize piece in this powerful PC Mini is the built-in Blu-ray combo disc drive for playing full HD 1080p video smoothly with brilliant clarity.

The diminutive 1.3L PC mini 550 supports Windows MCE and includes a full featured remote control, making it ideal for connection to a home entertainment system with a big screen LCD TV or for serving as a multi-channel surround sound system via a SPDIF terminal. The PC mini 132 also includes Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, a dual core Atom 330 processor and 2G SDRAM. An optional VDD100-DVD super multi recordable DVD drive is also available. Graphics performance experience is enhanced with the latest nVIDIA ION video chip making the PC mini 132 an excellent solution for HD games and multimedia entertainment with smooth HD display quality.

PC mini 120 – Compact, Commercial Computing

Designed to address the needs of SMB and SOHO that require simple operation, easy maintenance, space-saving design and power-saving features, ViewSonic presents the PC mini 120. The PC mini 120 comes in a tiny box of merely 0.6L and weighs in at an airy 0.55kg – so light it can be carried around the house and connected to any monitor that meets the user’s need. The PC mini 120 comes with Microsoft Windows XP operating system, 1GB DDR2 memory, 160GB SATA hard drive and offers multiple connectivity options with four USB ports for flexibility.
